For the application of chemically aggressive liquids (e.g. TICKOPUR J 80 U), the removal of chemically aggressive or abrasive contaminants or the sonication of sample liquids, insert tubs are used (indirect sonication). Because nothing may be placed on the bottom of the ultrasonic bath, BANDELIN offers suitable insert cups made of plastic with lids. Please note that in order to transfer the ultrasound to the insert vessel, the surface tension of the water must be reduced and therefore a cleaning solution (e.g. TICKOPUR R 33 - 3%) must be used as coupling liquid / contact liquid.
