The KE 76 cone tip is a tapered horn made of high-strength titanium alloy TiAl6V4 (3.7165). The KE 76 cone tip is used for sonication of small to medium volumes. Due to its geometry, it achieves multiple amplitude amplification and thus reaches highest ultrasonic power densities in liquids. It is used for complicated laboratory tasks, such as cell and bacteria disruption in biology and reaction acceleration in chemistry.
