Eppendorf (IVD) Centrifuge 5430 R, membrane keyboard, without rotor

The unique Centrifuge 5430 and 5430 R models combine the advantages of microcentrifuges (small footprint) and benchtop centrifuges (versatility) in one instrument. Rotors for Eppendorf tubes and PCR strips are used in these centrifuges, as usually expected from microcentrifuges. However, that is not all. Despite their compact size, the Centrifuge 5430 and 5430 R hold rotors for microplates and conical 15/50 mL tubes. Now, additional Eppendorf ^QuickLock® rotors have been added to the rotor program. These include 48-place rotors (1.5/2.0 mL), a 16-place rotor for Eppendorf ^Tubes® 5.0 mL and a swing-out rotor (24 × 1.5/2.0 mL). Their unbeatable versatility makes the Centrifuge 5430 and Centrifuge 5430 R the flagship of Eppendorf microcentrifuges.

Model 5430 is also available as a refrigerated version (5430 R). Since the compressor is located at the rear of the Centrifuge 5430 R-which is the case with all Eppendorf microcentrifuges-only little floor space is required and the access height is kept low.
