Vivaspin centrifugal concentrators offer the optimal solution for applications where protein solutions are concentrated or buffer solutions are exchanged. Through the membrane made of polyethersulfone (PES), their important macromolecules (e.g. proteins, DNA, antibodies, etc.) are retained, while unwanted by-products such as salts, solvents and small organic molecules pass through it. This ensures not only purification of the desired protein solution, but also its concentration.
The patented Dead-Stop technology allows direct recovery of the concentrate without any further processing steps. This makes sample work safe and convenient.
