Do you want to work with your hypoxic cell cultures in a permanently controlled O2 concentration? The solution is the O2 Control Glove Boxes from Coy. These chambers are made for research work where you need a constant and controlled atmosphere to maintain and control hypoxic, normoxic or hyperoxic conditions. The oxygen level can be controlled from 0-100 %. Possible applications include cell and tissue culture or animal research. In addition to the standard equipment, you can of course optimise your Coy glove box. This gives you the best product, perfectly customised to your applications.

InVivo Glove Box

Thanks to its outstanding adaptability, the InVivo glove box from Coy is ideal for keeping animals under constant conditions over the long term and offers numerous advantages over other systems.


  • Hypoxic and hyperoxic atmospheres: Care and treatment of the animals can easily be carried out inside the chamber without disturbing the gas atmosphere.
  • Choice of material: You have the option to choose between vinyl and aluminium with polycarbonate for your glove box.
  • Optimisation options: A special filtration system directs and filters the gaseous waste from the animals out of the chamber.
  • Customisation options: Many other customisation options are available to you.

InVitro Glove Box

The Coy InVitro-Glove Box provides a largely sterile atmosphere and enables cells to be treated in a particularly comfortable way.


  • Glove-free working: Thanks to the special sleeve system, you can comfortably insert your hands into the chamber either glove-free or with normal laboratory gloves without compromising the atmosphere.
  • Large access: A large side access or optionally a removable front panel make it easy to insert equipment into the InVitro-Glove Box.
  • Accessories for customisation: With additional accessories, you can optimally adapt the glove box to your specific needs.

Optional accessories for customised adaptation to your needs

O2 and CO2 regulator

Carbon dioxide and oxygen are set in the glove box. Nitrogen is used as an inert purge gas to replace the gas mixture and achieve the desired conditions. Sensors control the gas purge based on the user's values and setpoints. Nitrogen and CO2 sources are required to reduce the oxygen content below 20.9 % O2. This provides a more stable environment than CO2 incubators or cabinet systems by eliminating non-experimental gases.

Luftschleuse

Coy glove boxes are equipped with airlocks designed exclusively for flushing. This airlock is actually a transfer chamber that equalises the O2 level and adjusts it to the chamber before the door to the actual glove box is opened. Coy provides you with the ideal flushing times for the various O2 levels. Automatic airlocks have a specially set purge time based on the protocol and the target oxygen level. Once everything is pre-set, the airlock is operated by laboratory staff at the touch of a button.

Humidified incubation box

The incubation box is a separate unit that sits in the glove box. It ensures that the samples can be humidified under the same conditions (such as O2/CO2 level and temperature) without increasing the humidity of the entire chamber.
